Recycling plays an important part in the environmental sustainability initiative by making use of waste to produce metal, plastics, paper, and other materials.

 

A number of entrepreneurs have started setting up recycling facilities in the country. Most of them are using manual ways or using the system provided by the weighing mechanism suppliers to procure and sell the waste which is tedious and error-prone.

Perfect Model Solutions has embarked on the initiative in developing a Recycling Weighing system as an alternative to the conventional weighing system. It is designed to cater for Scrap Metal/Plastics/Paper operations. The system has the following capabilities:-

 

Scale/Weighbridge Integration:

We had developed an API that offers full integration for weighbridge and floor scales. Capturing the weighing indicator data on an inbound or outbound ticket of recycled materials eliminating duplication of data entry and increase data accuracy.

 

Centralized Master data Management:

All recycled products, customers, suppliers, lorry, driver information can be maintained in the system and can be used for all weighing ticket processing.

 

Yard Purchase:

Cash and cashless purchases are daily practice in most scrap yard recycling companies and require a well-designed and secure software solution. This module comprises of registering purchase tickets, agreeable adjustment/deduction based on the recycled material quality. The system provides a function to process cash purchases and credit purchases.

 

Yard Sales & Delivery:

The delivery tickets can be created at the beginning of the sales process where scales and weighbridge integration can be a part of the weighing process and a delivery ticket can be printed.

 

The system can capture the delivered product tonnage and enable the entry of agreeable adjustment/deduction based on weighing data produce by the customers. By performing the adjustment/deduct on the sales ticket, the company may invoice customers based on agreeable tonnage which reduces the billing cycle and reduces credit note & debit note entry.

 

Direct delivery function :

The Sales & Delivery function is capable of handling the direct delivery scenario where the delivery happens at the supplier’s yard by using the supplier’s outbound ticket. Upon receiving the customer receipt confirmation, the system is able to match the purchased ticket from suppliers' and customers’ confirmation of receipt to produce The system is able to perform the adjustment/deduction documented on customers’ receipt. The invoice can be produced after the necessary adjustment/deduction is updated in the system.

 

Reporting :

The system encompasses numerous reports/inquiry/analytics to produce useful information for sales, purchase, cash outflow/balance as well as reports requested by authorities.
